The primary research focus of the NeuroIntens_IRIS research group is the development, validation and establishment of innovative diagnostic methods for the detection, characterization and assessment of central and peripheral nervous system dysfunction in perioperative and intensive care patients. Through interdisciplinary cooperation with colleagues from neurology, neurophysiology and experimental anaesthesiology, scientifically relevant issues are addressed in experimental, clinical and translational research approaches.
